Please join us for the Opening Meet at Reedy Creek Hounds. Formal attire is requested. Anyone who has colors from his or her home hunt is welcome to wear them that day.
Fixture - Reedy Creek Farm
Flat country, some open farm land and some wooded and cut-over land with rides through. Jumps are about 2'3" to 2'9". There are go-arounds by all fences. There are two fields: first flight and a second flight which is much slower.Directions to Reedy Creek Farm
From the north take 95 South into 85 South and get off Exit 42 (McKenney). At the end of ramp make a right onto 40 West and go exactly 8.7 miles to Whitmore Road. Make a right on Whitmore Road. Go half mile to Continental Road and make a left onto Continental Road. Reedy Creek Farm is one mile on the right side of the road. Sign in front Reedy Creek Farm.From the south take 85 to exit 42 (McKenney) and turn left off exit ramp and follow the directions above.
The farm is about 15 minutes off the interstate.

There will be a traditional stirrup cup at 8 a.m. followed by a short poetry reading by a land-owner and then the Blessing of the Hounds at about 8:30 or so. Hounds will then move off after the blessing.In case of extreme weather, please verify fixture and start time by calling 804-478-5119 or 804-586-3076. There will be a recording about the hunt or someone will answer in person.
