Fixture - Mont Elery
You are cordially invited to Mont Elery, a beautiful farm and home, part of which dates back to 1730, located at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The fixture area will consist of hills and river bottoms as well as possible mountain trails. Jumps are approximately 3 feet and mostly coops and rails with an occasional stone wall. Stream crossings. There are gates and a cheerful hilltopping field.Directions to Mont Elery
From downtown Culpeper, take Rt. 229 toward Rixeyville. After passing the high school on the right, turn left at light onto Rt. 729 (Eggbornsville Road). Go 14 miles and Rt. 729 will turn off to the right. DO NOT turn—go straight ahead and road becomes Rt. 618 (Laurel Mills Road). Go just under 1 mile and farm entrance is on the left. Look for four board white fence. There is a Mont Elery farm sign and the RH hunt sign will be at the driveway. Go down driveway and at intersection, bear right into field for parking.From Warrenton, take Rt. 211W toward Washington/Sperryville. Go 16 miles to Ben Venue. Take left at Ben Venue onto Rt. 729 (toward Culpeper). Go 5 miles to stop sign. Turn right onto Rt. 618 (Laurel Mills Road). Go just under 1 mile and farm entrance is on the left. Look for 4 board white fence. There is a Mont Elery farm sign and the RH hunt sign will be at the driveway. Go down driveway and at intersection, bear right into field for parking.
The farm is approximately 30-40 minutes from Culpeper or Warrenton. We expect to have directional signs (arrows with RH on them) at the various intersections.
