Northern Accommodations

Hunts in the Northern Area of Virginia Hunt Week include Bull Run Hunt, Casanova Hunt, Middleburg Hunt, Old Dominion Hounds and Rappahannock Hunt. Depending on the fixture chosen, the Keswick Hunt meet may be convenient to these accommodations.

Northern Area - Accommodations for both horse and rider

Great accommodations for two, minutes from Middleburg in Piedmont Fox Hounds Country! Small apartment (2 twin beds) with kitchen, sitting area and bath, $150/night. Stalls and turnout for 2 horses, including hot water wash stall and on site farrier if needed. $30/day full board.

Barn at BallyCedars
For the rider: New barn guest quarters less than 2 miles from BRH kennels in the heart of hunt country, loft bedroom with queen, two additional futon couches/beds, full bath, kitchenette, large deck. $100 per night for 1-2 guests, $125 per night for 3 guests (maximum 3 guests.) Self-catering. No Smoking. Outside pets considered.
For the horse: 12x12 comfort-stall matted stall, hot/cold wash, private turnout paddock available. $25 per horse per night includes grass hay and bedding.

Hunters Rest
Plush accomodations for horse and rider. Located near Flint Hill in the center of Old Dominion Hounds territory.
Convenient to all northern meets - hack to many ODH meets; much of Rappahannock and Warrenton territory is 10 miles from here; Casanova, Orange County, 20 miles; Bull Run, Blue Ridge, Piedmont, 25 miles; Keswick 40 miles; Farmington, Commonwealth, Colonial 60 miles.
Basic rate is $75 per night - one person, one horse. Includes bedded stall and-or paddock, and 'first feeding' hay for the horse; bed and breakfast for the owner. Discounts for multi-night stays.
For horses: Hunter's Rest has two well-appointed stables (10 stalls total) and a variety of paddocks/pastures. Hot-cold wash, horse vacuums in both barns. Plenty of parking.
For owners: Hunter's Rest has seven rooms, most en suite.
Fixed price gourmet dinners are available for $25 (salad, main course -- farm-raised beef, farm-raised chicken, home-grown veggies, home-baked bread -- dessert, beer or wine). We can send you with to-go lunches for the road ($5.)
Hunter's Rest has an extensive horse and field sports library, lots of horse videos, satellite television, alarm clocks in each room, plush towels and robes, fireplace and wood stove -- all the amenities at "working horseman" prices.
